About RESONANCE 2.0
RESONANCE 2.0 is an engineering innovation event that brings together students to explore engineering creativity through two distinct competitions that test both technical skills and innovative thinking.
KLE Technological University
Dr. M. S. Sheshgiri Campus, Belagavi
Event Components
Two complementary competitions: a hardware challenge and an innovation challenge
TRANSITRON
A hands-on electronics circuit design challenge where participants simulate, design, and implement real hardware circuits using discrete components on breadboards.
Skills: Circuit design, debugging, component selection, and practical implementation.
SPINOVATE
A creative engineering problem-solving competition where teams generate innovative solutions by combining a base problem with randomly assigned constraints, audience types, and limitations.
Skills: Design feasible engineering concepts and present solutions through posters and presentations.

Evaluation Criteria
Pro Tips for Success
Practice with simulation tools beforehand. Focus on clean circuit design and proper component placement on the breadboard. Be prepared for modifications — adaptability is key! Document your design process as judges will ask questions.
SPINOVATE
A creative engineering challenge where teams generate innovative solutions by combining multiple randomly assigned constraints. Spin the wheels, embrace the challenge!
The Spinovate Process
Base Problem Wheel
Teams spin a wheel and receive one base problem statement:
- Personal Safety
- Portable Purification System
- Fire Detection
- Smart Micro-Climate Control System
Challenge Wheel
Spin again to receive three constraints:
- Technology ConstraintSpecific technology or component you must use
- Target AudienceThe user group your solution must serve
- Limitation / TwistAdditional restriction to increase difficulty
Final Problem Statement
Teams must combine all elements to form a complete engineering challenge:
Problem Statements for Spinovate
Problem statements for Spinovate will not be disclosed beforehand. Participants will receive their challenge during the event through the spinning wheel system. This ensures fairness and equal opportunity for all teams to demonstrate their innovative problem-solving skills.
Round 1: Poster Presentation
Teams will define the final problem, design their solution, and prepare a poster. No digital devices or internet allowed during this round.
Poster Must Include
Presentation Format
Round 2: Final Presentation
Shortlisted teams must prepare a PowerPoint presentation explaining their solution in detail to the judges.
PPT Must Cover
